The first of my new series “The Showman’s Parson – The Memoirs of Thomas Horne” with stories about Victorian fairground sideshows was broadcast tonight on BBC Radio 4 at 7.45PM: you can get it on Iplayer/Listen Again for another 5-6 days, then next week’s episode “The Cumberland Crusher” will be on at the same time.
