Poppets Puppets were formed in 1998 by Tony Lidington & Gary Bridgens. Tony and Gary have worked together for over 15 years with the nationally-renowned Pierrotters the last remaining professional seaside Pierrot troupe in Britain. |

Tony is an experienced performer and director, having worked for Opera North, Major Road, Mind the Gap, Open Hand, Bradford Festival, Walk the Plank, Whitewood & Fleming, The Liverpool Everyman, Blaize and many more. He has most recently played Grimaldi in the Radio 4 commissioned play - ‘The Life and Times of Joseph Grimaldi’ to great critical acclaim. |

Gary is an accomplished performer and has worked as a production technician and showman with leading companies such as Welfare State International, Cirque du Soleil, Sydney Opera House, The Ashton Contemporary Theatre, Spitting Image, Blaize and Walk the Plank. |

The Museum for Children and other corporate and community events. |
